Within the framework of the XXIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the leader of geological exploration in Russia, GEOTEK, PJSC Rostelecom and Otkritie Bank signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the field of digital geological exploration technologies. The document was signed by the President of PJSC Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky, the President of PJSC GEOTEK Seismic Exploration Vladimir Tolkachev and the Head of the First Block of Otkritie Bank Alexander Sokolov.
The parties agreed to develop effective and mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at supporting projects and initiatives for the development of Russian high-tech information systems and technologies, the creation of new tools and software for collecting and analyzing data, in particular, processing and interpreting geophysical information.
“The agreement signed with Russia's largest provider of digital services and solutions, PJSC Rostelecom, will allow the company to successfully continue the program of digitalization of production processes. All the information we receive in the exploration process is digital data. Using the latest technologies of our partner and implementing the United Search Initiative project, GEOTEK will be able to increase the volume of processed data and the accuracy of modeling, conduct deep integration of field and office stages of geophysics,” said Vladimir Tolkachev, President of PJSC GEOTEK Seismic Exploration.
