Annual 21st exhibition “Oil and gas. Fuel and energy complex” is taking place in Tyumen from September 16 to 19.
Over the course of four days, 200 participants from fuel and energy complex enterprises, manufacturing and science from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, Japan, Germany, China and Romania will demonstrate their services, equipment and products.
At the Tyumen Fair Expo Center Tyumengeologiya, the Siberian Scientific and Analytical Center, Tyumen Oil and Gas University, OJSC GEOTEK Seismic Exploration and other enterprises placed their stands.
Deputy Governor Vyacheslav Vakhrin and members of his delegation lingered at the GEOTEK Seismic Exploration stand and inquired whether the sanctions had had an impact. As stated by General Director of OJSC GEOTEK Seismic Exploration Yuri Kalabin, the US and EU embargo on the supply of certain types of equipment to Russia did not affect the company's activities in any way. "One of our most important projects is seismic exploration work at the largest Kovykta field in Eastern Siberia. The only difficulty for us is how to raise the Yenisei pulse sources, our own production, on the steep banks of the Lena, up to 1000 meters high, because it is impossible to use vibrators due to the very rugged terrain."
