The 3D survey was carried out in the specific conditions of Eastern Siberia with the Angara River in the contour using the method of combining various types of electromagnetic pulse seismic sources.
To improve data accuracy, a seamless technology was used for acquisition both on land and on water, which made it possible to cover hard-to-reach areas in the Angara River contour.
To excite elastic vibrations in the work area, pulsed electromagnetic seismic sources «Yenisei» on different types of chassis were used: SEM-100, VEM-50 and KEM-4.
Integrating different types of sources allows seamless acquisition of complex areas with different surface conditions, generating seismic waves with different frequencies, which allows separating useful signals from interference and covering a wide range of frequencies, improving the resolution of the data obtained.
