Participants gathered to review the results of pilot-industrial work carried out by service companies commissioned by LLC "GPN-GEO", as well as to learn about innovations and proposals from suppliers of specialized equipment.

The Chief Geophysicist of JSC GEOTEK, Andrey Fedorov, in collaboration with LLC "Specgeophysics", presented the results of experimental and methodological work with broadband sweep signals and Vostok 62T vibratory sources, conducted as part of a project in the Orenburg region. Data obtained during the tests indicate significant potential for this vibratory source modification, including the capability to conduct broadband and low-frequency seismic surveys in various regions of Russia. The use of broadband low-frequency sweep signals enables expansion of the signal spectrum both towards low and high frequencies, enhancing the dynamic characteristics of the recordings.

Company representatives also spoke about the specifics of organizing and conducting CDP (Common Depth Point) seismic surveys in areas with heavy anthropogenic impact. A prominent case illustrating this topic was an innovative 3D project conducted within a licensed area in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO), implemented by the Seismic Party of the Tyumenneftegeofizika Branch of JSC GEOTEK. The study was complicated by anthropogenic features of the terrain, including roads, railways, pipelines, power lines, and residential buildings. The use of GEOTEK’s proprietary patented "ISSD" (in-motion geophysical data registration) technology with impulse sources "Yenisei N-20" of in-house production, combined with traditional explosive sources and wireless equipment, allowed for a significant reduction in seismic data loss.

The Technological Forum on Exploration Geophysics brought together specialists and managers of geological exploration programs from oil and gas companies and service providers performing field geophysical work. The forum was dedicated to discussing current technologies and innovations in field seismic and electrical prospecting. Sessions addressed modern technologies in field seismic work and presented the latest methods in electrical prospecting.
