As part of preparations for the 2024-2025 winter field season, specialists from JSC «GEOTEK» have successfully completed training under the program «Design, Operation, Maintenance, and Repair of Self-Propelled Seismic Signal Units ’Vostok’ BV62T/62.»

The course covered key aspects of working with the equipment, including the use, setup, and maintenance of modern vibroseismic sources. The knowledge gained will enable the effective use of the «Vostok 62» units in conducting field geophysical work in the Orenburg region. Even today, these vibroseismic sources demonstrate high performance and reliability under challenging operating conditions.

Earlier, JSC «GEOTEK» conducted demonstration tests of the «Vostok» BV62T units for major players in the oil and gas sector, including PJSC «NOVATEK,» LLC «Gazprom Nedra,» and PJSC «NK Rosneft.» The tests confirmed the stability of the equipment’s performance when generating signals at frequencies starting from 2 Hz, without any reduction in emission quality or operational parameters. The minimum calculated frequency at full power was 3.6 Hz, surpassing similar models used in Russia.

The verified characteristics and the results of JSC «GEOTEK» specialists’ training provide the company with additional advantages in implementing advanced geophysical research projects.
