JSC «GEOTEK» Begins Seismic Exploration in a New Region
The Seismic Party 410 of the JSC «GEOTEK» branch has started conducting research in a new region—the Republic of Adygea. The project involves 2D MOGT (Multi-Offset Gathered Transmission) seismic exploration over an area of 200 linear kilometers using vibrational seismic technology (CPP).
The site is located within the Adygean Uplift, a raised tectonic block separating two tectonic depressions: the Western Kuban Foredeep and the Eastern Kuban Basin. Despite the region’s complex natural, anthropogenic, and seismogeological conditions, SP-410 has already completed the preparatory and pilot-methodological stage of the project and has proceeded to the production phase.
JSC «GEOTEK» is a leading company in land and transition zone seismic exploration, providing services to clients in all major oil and gas-bearing regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The company is a key enterprise in Russia’s geological sector and significantly contributes to the implementation of the state program for replenishing the country’s mineral resource base in the oil and gas sector.
