Representatives of JSC "GEOTEK" took part in the VIII International Scientific and Practical Geophysical Conference "Geofest - 2024", which is held every two years and is one of the largest platforms bringing together representatives of industry companies, manufacturers and customers of equipment.

As part of the business program of the conference, a panel session was held on the topic "New technologies, digitalization, import substitution", where leading specialists and experts of the industry considered the main trends in modern seismic exploration in the context of sanctions, as well as innovative solutions in the industry. Representatives of GEOTECH spoke about seismological equipment and technologies in the context of current challenges of the geological exploration market in the Russian Federation, in particular about the latest developments of the company's subsidiary, the Impuls plant: pulse sources "Abakan" and "H20", the radiation power of which is 1.3-1.5 times higher, and the signal/noise ratio of data is 30-50% higher than that of analogues. The company plans to further increase the power and efficiency of these pulse sources.

Also during the business program, GEOTECH presented an overview of the capabilities of DAS systems, which the company has, for solving problems in the oil and gas sector.

During the event, experts also discussed new approaches to processing, interpretation, integration, the transition to high-quality import-substituted seismic exploration technologies, and a large-scale equipment exhibition and demonstration was organized as part of the event.
