The project covers an area of 1,400 km², providing customers with detailed data on the geological structure of the region.
The work is carried out in harsh taiga conditions, where 100% of the territory is covered by dense forests. This required the involvement of additional personnel for logging and topogeodetic work to ensure safe and efficient deployment of geophysical equipment. The study area is characterized by a complex fine-layered medium, differentiated by velocity and density parameters, which creates excellent conditions for obtaining accurate geological data. Conducting drilling and seismic surveys in the project zone is complicated by geological features: traps, loose Quaternary deposits in river valleys, linear subvertical zones of Cambrian carbonate outcrops, as well as significant elevation differences exceeding 300 meters. These factors require high qualifications and precision in executing the work, highlighting the professionalism of the company's specialists.
The regional climate tests both people and equipment: winter temperatures can drop to -57°C. Despite this, the work proceeds strictly according to schedule. During peak periods, 30 drilling and 10 seismic crews work simultaneously on the project, allowing up to 1,000 physical observations to be recorded per day, with total personnel reaching 400 people.
Thanks to a comprehensive approach, advanced technologies, and a highly professional team, the Krasnoyarsk branch of JSC "GEOTEK" continues successful project implementation, providing customers with detailed and reliable data on the subsurface structure of Irkutsk Oblast.
