Seismoparty-217 of the oilfield services company GEOTEK has completed preparations, passed an audit, and commenced field operations as part of the 2024-2025 winter field season in Western Siberia. The production program for this project includes approximately 290 sq. km of 3D seismic surveys (MOGT-3D), according to GEOTEK President Roman Panov.

The work is being carried out in a remote area with no existing road infrastructure. Before operations began, a client-conducted audit was performed to assess base readiness, compliance with safety regulations, the quality of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the organization of medical support.

Personnel and equipment are transported using helicopters and all-terrain vehicles. Travel time by all-terrain vehicles from the nearest settlement can take up to 28 hours.

«A set of modern seismic exploration equipment and domestically manufactured drilling rigs will be used for ground surveys. All team specialists have undergone the necessary training and have begun executing their tasks within the scheduled timeframe,» Panov emphasized.
