For 60 years now, the branch of the joint-stock company "GEOTEK" - "Tyumenneftegeofizika" has been successfully conducting seismic exploration work. Today, the geography of the enterprise's work covers the whole of Russia and neighboring countries.
The history of the branch began in 1964, when the trust "Tyumenneftegeofizika" was established. Its first manager, Vil Mansurov, together with his team, began conducting field geophysical work in the shortest possible time.
Over the 60 years of TNGF's operation, thousands of kilometers of oil fields have been explored. Among them are such giants as Bovanenkovo, Urengoy, Samoltorskoye and others. The company's employees were able to provide seismic exploration on an almost industrial scale.
In the Soviet Union, people went into geological exploration not for the money, but, as the song goes, for the sake of... behind the fog and the smell of the taiga. Today, the goal has not changed, but the working conditions have improved.
The Tyumen plant "Impulse" manufactures spare parts for all-terrain vehicles and drilling equipment, which TNGF uses in the process of seismic exploration work. And they also developed a powerful pulse source "Yenisei N-20", which in its power is twice as powerful as similar ones in Russia. The company also takes care of its personnel reserve.
Russia ranks third in the world in oil production, and Siberia is rightfully considered the oil capital of our country. Tyumenneftegeofizika has made a major contribution to this proud title.
