"Geotech Seismic Services" successfully completed a project for LUKOIL

The TZ project for LUKOIL in the Russian part of the Baltic Sea was successfully completed by “Geotech Seismic Services”   PJSC in October 2015. Over 86 000 shot points were acquired in the area of 320 km2 at the depth of 35 m.
The tender for seismic survey in the transition zone announced by “LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft” was awarded to “Geotech Seismic Services” in spring of 2015. After the agreement execution the pre-work started and in a very short time logistics to deliver equipment from the Caspian to the Baltic sea was organized as well as receipt of all permits including the environmental ones. The navigation plan was efficiently developed for shipping from the 4 seas, namely the Caspian, Black, Barents and White, to the area under survey.  Proper organization of mobilization enabled to start operations in due time and complete the survey as scheduled prior to an autumn storm period inappropriate for seismic operations.
The wide-azimuth method applied in this project resulted in high-quality data recording and enabled to solve the geological goal set by the Client.
Professional skills of personnel and compliance with international HSE standards of “Geotech Seismic Services”, that enabled to complete the project without any incidents and negative impact to environment, were highly appraised by the top-management of “LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft”.
