GEOTECH completed seismic exploration works for the KUL-BAS project in Kazakhstan

In the 2020-21 field season, the seismic crew No. 1 of Azimut Energy Services JSC completed seismic exploration works for the KUL-BAS project in the Aktobe region (Republic of Kazakhstan). The seismic crew has conducted a 3D seismic survey on the territory of 600 km2 and a 2D seismic survey on the territory of 443 km2.

It is important to note that from the first days of the project implementation, the seismic crew No. 1 confidently showed high productivity in all types of work and, without slowing down, dynamically worked through the entire 2020-21 season and completed the works 26 days earlier.

The high performance was achieved thanks to a dedicated and experienced team of specialists and employees of seismic crew-1.

During the preparatory period, there was a mobilization of resources from various locations. This always requires a high organization of the process and careful control of all stages of transportation, especially given the challenges associated with the COVID-19 restrictions.

The seismic crew overcame the difficulties, which, along with extremely favorable weather conditions, made it possible to avoid full-shift downtimes - not a single day for the entire field season!

We congratulate the team of the seismic crew No. 1 on the completion of the winter field season works, we wish everyone good health, well-being, and new successful projects!
